well, like Peter said on post # 907, there are reliable reports of wild boars that killed tigers in India:

so a wild boar could and have killed tigers before. Problem is Pckts wont believe any account of a tiger being killed/defeated by a wild boar. That account above could be true, you dont know that, tigers get killed in the wild also by their prey, accidents happen, its not the norm right. Also, some wild boars in the Russian far east have been known to reach 750 lbs, not a small adversary i would say.

Check this news out, i dont know how accurate it is, but a wild boar hunter in Russia supposedly killed and weighted an 1179 lb boar. If its true, it was the heaviest wild boar in history:
