I remember this case, when I read about it some time ago :) Nice, that this photographer saw this and got some photos. Also it was good, that this lion then spotted something else more interesting, those kittens would have been only a snack after all.

Here is more about it how situation went and more photos, those are very nice photos and that lion is in some way funny to see, how it watches that caracal. It is almost like having some inner fight like "to eat or not to eat" :) And that caracal was cute, maybe it was the last thing preventing the lion
