When I watched that, it can be difficult to say what that lion understood when cheetah charged. But that cheetah without a doubt knew what it was facing. I haven´t studied at all how many times something like that can be seen, but maybe some cheetahs have learned, that a lone lion can be fooled like that to flee, when charging like "out of nowhere" with pretty high speed giving no time to think for the lion. Anyway nice to see, that it happens sometimes like that too, whatever that lion did or didn´t understand. Reply
