There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

I never said I was going to write a blog, correct?
You asked, and I gave you factual answers. You don't believe them, feel free to ask Peter, Gaute, Tigerluver, Copters, Panthera etc.
All of them are well aware of morphological differences, this is old hat.
If you feel like looking them up, we already have threads devoted to forearm and bicep girth with tons of measurements, we have threads devoted to Skull size with measurements, shoulder height etc.

Just a example, here is the forearm differences

for the lion:
17 inch, 21 inch, 19 inch, 18 inch, 18 inch, 18 inch, 20 inch, 20 inch, 20 inch, 17 inch = 188
188 / 10 = 18,8 inch

for the tiger:
21 inch, 21 inch, 21 inch, 19 inch, 18 inch, 17 3/4 inch, 19 inch, 18 inch, 19 1/2 inch, 19 1/5 inch, 18 inch, 19 1/2 inch, 20 inch, 20 inch, 20 inch, 21 inch, 22 inch = 333,95
333,95 / 17 = 19,6 inch

and Bicep
Above joint = Biceps }

Tiger = Close to 2 feet

Lion = Between 18 and 20 inches

I appreciate all of your hard work sanjay, but if you are going to make specific morphological statements you should have all of the facts or maybe just keep it to the lines of discussing sub species and differences between them and leave out the morphological talk.
Just my two cents
