Although the thread only just started, it already has a wealth of information. Excellent work!  

Here's something to consider for the future. 

Experience says readers only seldom read long posts. Many of them lack time. This means it's likely some of the info you post will evaporate into thin air. A great pity. My advice, therefore, is to produce summaries every now and then. 

Summaries will save those involved in collecting information a lot of time and enable readers to keep track. If you lack time, ask another member interested in jaguars (@Onca?). 

When writing a summary, always use the same system. In order to enhance access, start with a title and add a few headings and a photograph. The best summaries compare to newspaper reports. 

Keep in mind most readers lack time and specific knowledge. In some ways, they compare to those those who just returned from a 2-year trip to Mars. 

It takes time to learn to transfer information, but those who acquired the skill will harvest many benefits. One is it will result overview of the one producing summaries. Two is it will result in access for readers. Three is it will result in an invitation to join the team of moderators sooner or later. You and Onca would make a good team. Let me know when you think you're ready.
