There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

But, just as soon as he is old enough to possibly kill and eat the neighbor's dog ( or their children ) I would give to to someone more capable of tending to him; a zoo or animal sactuary prearranged.

If  all the necessary bases could be covered - strictly hypothetical - it would definitely be a blast. Kevin Richardson and
Dave salmoni - for example - have experienced the type of bond with their lions and tigers respectively that warm the
heart. There are countless examples in the U.S. alone, of people successfully and unsuccessfully , who have given it a
go. There was a video a while back, of two Brits who bought a lion cub, raised it, and gave it to George Adamson of "born
free" fame for successful re-entry into the wild. Some time later they venture to Afica and find their now fullgrown lion
and the happy reunion was captured on tape for all to see. I fully understand thats the exception and not the rule.
