There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

But they were not weighed, so Madla is still the largest confirmed Central Indian tiger.

an estimate is an estimate and that's hard to be accurate, I would have though Jai was much heavier and T-24 to be lighter then he was.
personally I don't think Wagdoh is 280 kg and not even close to 300 kg, I could be right and I could be wrong, but the thing is no tigers are weighed over 260 kg (empty) and I see an tendency to throw out massive estimates (not this forum, but others and photographers etc) for tigers. I'm not saying it's impossible, and there are huge tigers out there for sure, I'm sure there are tigers heavier than 260 kg and also lions over 250 kg, but I also know these are few individuals.
