There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Couple of reasons for that assumption and it is a reasonable one and not entirely an assumption at all except in maybe that's when attention is drawn to a lion not recovering as one would expect. TB in lions is still a study in progress and I'm not all that clued up about it myself. What I do know is that not all lions will become symptomatic and immunity is gradually being built up naturally although this is still nothing immediate. Infected lions can live for years overtly quite healthily but will rapidly lose condition after a trauma hence how it seems to show up after these events.
