large adult male tiger (8-10 years old) from either Kaziranga or Orang NP travelled odd 120-160km to reach Umananda Island and got stuck in between rocks. people that spotted the tiger swimming immediately notified the authorities and a team led by Dr. Bijay Gogoi of Assam State Zoo rushed to the spot in boats to rescue this tiger.
