There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

And here is rajas video with the cow gaur, I wonder if she just gave birth? She seemed rather thin for a gaur, but then again cats seek out the weak. Notice how both lion and tiger once they grabbed the throat, the buffalos didn't put up much of a fight after that, the lion tossed the buffalo to the ground while raja held on till the cow become to weak a couple minutes later and fell to the ground.

They say "tossed" in the doc, the cow went down once oxygen got too low, thats why her limbs are completely erect. She is going unconscious.
The thing that stands out most to me is that the buffalo cow was able to pull the lion in the begining, we also don't know how it started compared to Raja that once he bit down, he wasn't budged.
The cape buffalo may be more robust, the gaur while a thin one, would definitely be quite a bit taller and a naturally larger animal, so they could possibly be relatively close in size.
