There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

He is my favourite lion around and now that he is being seen less due to the shifting dynamic it would be pretty sad, for me personally, to see him wither away. Such is the way it goes in the bush though and while he may not have legendary accounts about his existence his time as a territorial male can definitely be regarded as a success (and may yet hopefully continue).
Agreed. He’s looking very thin. Hopefully he’ll get a meal soon and recover if something else is going on. We are right at that three year mark where dominant males oftentimes start to shift territory, lose territory and prides etc. it’s a critical time for him, and his brothers. In the past he’s been known to be extremely resilient. Hopefully that resilience will continue and he’ll be around for a while to come.
