There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Im trying to ID him.

It doesnt look to be S.Avoca afterall.

S.Avoca has dark scar under his right eye which this male doesnt have, whiskers are also off by the looks of it.

Mala Mala is sort of going to limit the ideas right?  Who's been in that area?  N'Was, Gijima's, Nkulu's?

Tumbela was migrating that way too wasn't he?

I saw someone else try to say S8, but this seems too far south for that based on my limited geographical knowledge of the area. Mala Mala could be a random rogue we don't know.

I guess ultimately we need a new head count in the area.

3/6 Nkhulu + Dreadlocks were seen in Skukuza recently. Most likely not them.
also the nose is too dark to be any of the younger males

The person who posted the instagram for the limping lion 4 days ago implied a ranger told them that was one of the black Dam males.  I thought they've both been seen in the last few days however.

This male also appears have a scar right above his right eye, like the recent bite to S8's face. I do hope this is not him, those cubs need him right now.

Position looks a bit of, but it might be because of loosen and deformed skin:

That male might sustain that scar from that fight.
