There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Hi guys. It's really sad that two good members and posters end up fighting. I know opinions and point of views of the dynamics are different in each-person (Including myself) As our great mod @BA0701 has pointed 'Speculation and opinion is an unfortunate necessity, when discussing a subject as dynamic and fluid as wildlife' It depends in oneself how to take the speculations and opinions. (Of course, the aim of WF is giving information by first-hand. But even rangers and guides do speculations with the lion dynamics and often give their personal opinions of what will happen, either sooner or later)  I haven't seen anybody declaring such informtion as a confirmed fact. Just giving his point of view and his opinion. Thus, if we disagree with his personal opinion, we should respect it anyways. I considerer WildFact as one of the best websites when it comes to information. In my personal opinion, it is better than Facebook. Since the members are good and respectful. Obviously, If both want keep discussing. Can do it in PM. As well, If anyone thinks taking a break is appropiate, It's more than welcome. We'll wait for his comeback with pleasure.

So if I understand correctly, you want to be paid just for doing "copy/paste" from fb, instagram and youtube ??? As far as I know you don't even take these pictures so why would you be paid for them ???? People here are contributing just to spread informations or talk about the animals we like, it's just a hobby.

Not my words, but according to what is said in this story it looks like the injuries were from a fight with the avocas who were also injured

Actually ads are in control of Google. We are not controlling where to place it and where not. Nobody gets paid for the advertising (Including mods.) It depends on one if they want to contribute. I used to post 100 posts per day and to be honest. I never have been interested in getting money. I was interested in becoming a moderator of this forum. Anyway, If you has a question, Sanjay and Peter will help you with that.
We are not content creators. Most of our posts and information comes from rangers. And the pics/videos from Instagram and Facebook. To Most WildFact members this forum is a hobby.

Bruh, any money WF makes probably is barely enough to keep the forum free and running without any issues. Keeping a site like this up takes money, this isn't a stock you bought so let's not talk dividends my friend.

Just 1 more note from me, to make things clear, my whole assumption that N'ws and Avocas didn't fight was based of "sources" that 2 Avocas where seen exact day when injured N'ws and they where completely healthy, if that turns out it was false, and that Avocas are/where indeed injured, which WildEarth and now Londolozi suggest, then ofc there is no question that N'ws and Avocas fight, my assumption was based of info we got at that time.

Thats all.

It was a solid assumption, Since we often based in sources and we try to match points. Let's see if we can get some footage of the N.Avocas.

All, WildFact is the creation of our very own @peter  and @sanjay , who did this for no other reason than their emense love and knowledge for all of these creatures. They have created a beautiful site, for everyone's enjoyment and education, in order to help those same creatures.

Any thought or consideration that they, or anyone else, is getting rich off of this site is simply not true. This is not Google or Instagram, this is a well thought out site, a good place for like minded people to come and discuss the animals we all love, one that takes a tremendous amount of time and dedication by those two people. WildFact is a place for our members to share recent content they've come across, news, images, videos, and for some of those very content creators to share their work directly with us. Monetization is done by the content creators, through sites like the ones mentioned. The views they receive from the links shared on this site contribute to their monetization, but also provide another avenue to get their conent in front of folks.

Now, please, may we return to discussing these beautiful creatures, the things that unite us, instead of our differences, and the things that may divide us.
