There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

1/3 Boyela males.
This male is 1/3 Boyela males who rule a huge territory in Shingwedzi, originally they had 3 prides, they abandoned one of the prides a while ago, not sure about the other two. Seen between Punda Maria and Shingwedzi, North Kruger. In this sighting he was being chased by two young males, likely his sons.  Last picture is 1/2 young males chasing him.

Found a picture of him from August 2016, as a young male :

I always taught that he is older and i didn't understand how he and 5th Mpondo didn't form a coalition as they both where born in Vurhami pride, but it looks like that H4 male is not that old and 5th Mpondo was prob atleast 2 yrs older..

Photo of 5th Mpondo and younger subadult male in Vurhami pride in 2014:

Apparently there where 3/4 subadult males in Vurhami pride atm, but 5th Mpondo being older he left the pride and later on form a coalition in Mjejane Reserve, later to be know as Mpondos..

H4 male prob got ousted from the pride in 2016 after Shishangenis came..

Interesting times couple days back the Two Shishangeni males were chasing Gomondwane males. They didn’t catch them because the Gomondwane booted it. Witnessed by bigonwild he only saw one Gomondwane. and Kerry Kruger pride Safaris saw two Gomondwane. Either way Shishangeni still got it. and Rodney nombekana was there too. This was at Gomondwane apparently after this the shishangenis left and went back to s25 whilst Gomondwane went back to s28. Apparently Tshokwane males are 20kms  away from the their territory now.
