Orpen Males Junior and Buddy.
Junior died from anthrax (wtf?), and Buddy died a few days after him from reasons unknown.

Stuck this map together from the images in the video

Its a few months old but what has changed since? The Opren males are dead and the Koppies pride was basically destroyed, anything else?

Such a pity. If I remember correctly there was an anthrax outbreak in the Kruger National Park during the 90s. Never thought it would pop up again but it's a totally natural disease.

Yeah, beside Koppies pride map is still actual. Skorro breakaway also haven't been seen in Manyeleti for months now already. Northern Manyeleti is wide open now. Mbiri males with Skorro pride were seen there recently, perhaps they will decide to stick a bit longer since this land belongs to noone at that point.

The Mbiri males (Matimba sons) ousted the Hercules males and took over the Skorro pride late last year.

I was thinking about linking a video with this map to you when you asked the other day, but it quite different now.

One neat way how to update on this is these updates below. Basically Nkuhuma are long gone from Manyeleti, from the coalitions on the map, only Red Road male is still going as dominant male in Manyeleti (Dark Mane Avoca have not been on the property for weeks now), Koppies pride is missing, Talamatis are more south, Ximhugwe and Nharus probably too, the first will be harder to pinpoint as the pride is nomadic sole lioness with a cub avoiding other lions, I would consider Gowrie gate to be somewhat central of where she is moving, not sure how regular she is in Manyeleti but any guestimates might be skewed by more frequent about northern Sabi Sands sighting; the Nharus are just trying to avoid young Tinstwalos because they have small cubs and already had their kill takeover before which likely laid to loss of some cubs (there is video of the pride and Red Road Male on a carcass few post before, that is from the dam in southwestern corner, Dixie dam I think it is called, when Talamtis were gone, far in Sabi Sands; not that it is Nharus territory but they will move in south when they can). Obviously Tintswalos emerged as a new coalition, the area on the map is likely the same (the males were called after the camp they have been seen frequently around even), the Mbiri pride territory just expanded - if they have 4 young Tinstwalos with them, they can go where they want. Skorros experienced takeovers, somebody should fill in, I believe most of that happens outside of Manyeleti. Birmingham pride has its own thread, the breakaway used here might be misleading, the individuals entering Manyeleti would be (temporary or not) breakaways from Brimingham pride but not from Bimingham Breakaway pride (which is next to Birmingham pride in Timbavati).

Mbiri female brought her cub out, the Tintswalo males were hanging around too. Guide mentioned they were playing & nuzzling with the cub.

Hopefully the 2nd Mbiri Female brings out more than one cub. I wonder if this one only gave birth to one cub or an actual litter and the rest just didn't make it. Really happy to see Junior and Buddy's cubs. Hope the other males are tolerant and gentle as the one in the vid.

I may be mistaken, but i believe one of the denning females is actually one of the near 5 year old young Mbiri females. Sister to the 3 Mbiri Males. Young Mbiri males are turning 5 years old too. All suspected to be born between Mid Jan and early April 2016 from various litters.

OLdest litter from that generation is from November or December of 2016. They are not 5 years old yet.

First 2 Mbiri cubs where born in November 2016 and then few more in December 2016, they still had cubs after that in early to mid 2017.

Thats 100% true, you can find that on Tintswalo reports.

Nharhus/Tumbelas are around 1 year older, also depends on litter, but born from late 2015 to early-ish 2016, as you said.
