It seem more like they want Kruger males lands with Torchwood pride, insteed of Birminghams with Kambula pride.

Its very rare that a coalition/male holds 1 pride more then 1 offspring generation (which is around 3 yrs), that is, its very rare that they sire 2nd generation of offspring, which would meant that they need to be dominant for atleast 6 yrs of that pride..
In Sabi Sands Majingilanes almost sired 2 generations in Mhangeni pride, they where dominant of them for more then 5 yrs..
Now Bboys are raising their 2nd generation offspring in Kambula pride, but because of their age, they might not succeed (just like Majingilanes)..

Are there any instances of male lions in sabi adopting cubs of a previous male during pride takeover? Or maybe even allowing a young wandering male into the pride?

Kruger males accepted cubs sired by Toulon males In Southern pride. Charleston males also accepted cubs sired by Fourwas males in Southern pride althrough in that case we can not be certain that Charlestons did not mated with Southern pride females as well.
