There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.
There were 56-57 lions living in the Western Sector in 2006. It's been 16-17 years and the population has never come close to recover after the Mapogos arrived ( plus humans wiping out the Sand River Pride which I think lived there too ).
So clearly situation isn't good. I'd buy that argument if the lions were actually not threatened by humans and had huge territories they once had in the past where they could flee to and thrive if under threat.
