There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

This one has also been slightly stretched according to a veteran collector.
It is likely that 7 cm is the absolutely ceiling for the big cat claws, even the specimens above 300 kg would only reach this magnitude, since their claws are retractable, and overgrown claws would only damage their paws.
I would say that the longest claws for both lion and tiger are 7 cm at maximum, but 5-6 cm is much more common though.
