There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

The Matimba male lions have been going full out roaring- what an amzing way to start a cold morning.
They are looking stronger and have been spending time with both the Othawa pride and the Mhangene pride. We had Hairy Belly on a warthog kill a few days back. He had chased the Mhangene lionesses off of the kill and continued to feed. We saw his brother tonight mating with an unknown female at this point. Perhaps she could be in false oestrus to lure the male away in order for her to protect the last remaining genes of the Majingies.
