There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

BTW how tall is the man?
Yes, the lion looks huge, but you have to look carefully and imagine the lion without the impressive mane.
BTW he says that the white tiger is 650 lbs, but I see a completely average tiger.
I think its a pretty experienced trainer Clayton Rosaire, so I'm sure its pretty accurate, the weights I think can fluctuate depending upon whether its summer or winter, they eat less in the summer because of the heat.
I agree many cats don't get much beyond 600 lbs unless their fed a lot, which is expensive, generally they're just fed enough. Some of the largest tigers I had seen, did not weigh 700 lbs, but generally topped out around 600 lbs. A young white lion I saw, only around 4 years old, was already over 500 lbs, and is now confirmed to weigh over 600 lbs. So its little doubt that lion will be getting close to 700 when fully grown and filled out. This is why I was curious if you guys had any of the top validated weights for captive non neutered tigers.
