There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Seeing the friendship some trainers and keepers have with these animals makes me
yearn to experience it. I enjoy the the thought of it.

I personally would choose lion. Lioness (if you are a man, male lion if you are a woman).

I know a man (he is a vet) who raised tiger, lion and jaguar. According to him jaguar was the most difficult to treat while lion was the easiest.

Good thing is when the cubs are raised by another animals, for instance (female) dogs. I know about a cub (I don´t remember if lion, tiger or what) who was raised only by a man. The animal has been later translocated to a zoo and was extremely scared of other felids.

As I know it´s not that important to have a big yard for the animal, much more important is the quality of the place.

Another good thing is to have some experience with some smaller felids first.
