There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

This is the first ever register in the world of a Puma with Leucism ( a genetic mutation that causes depigmentation in some parts of the body its different from Albinism which is the total absence of melanin ). The image was shot at the Parque Nacional Serra dos Orgãos (Parnaso) in Petrópilis. The biologist Cecília Cronemberger who leads the research, explained that the animal was spotted by camera traps, its a young male and was photographed in 2013 in two different places. However, in the following years, the rare White Puma was nowhere to be seen in the region and his whereabouts are still unknown.
