There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Now renamed MT-4, she was “soft released” into a 28-hectare enclosure stocked with prey & water. Tranquilized from Ranth at 6:30 in the morning, she was at MHTR via road by afternoon after health check-up & radio collaring.

They probably want cubs ASAP as MT-2 & MT-3 are both too young, but Mirza & Lightening are of breeding age, both are fertile & has cubs before. Also she's a bit timid & getting bullied by the others.

Before T-98 (now MT-3) was identified, everybody thought it was T-110 that was moving towards MHTR.

But now while he had reached the safety of Darrah core area, this one (as of April 2019) is stuck in fringe forests at the Hadoti region of Rajasthan between Ranthambore, Mukundara & Kuno-Palpur. They're still planning on moving him to Seljar Range of MHTR but the area still isn't ready with local refusing rehabilitation package & cattle grazing etc.

So far, four big cats, two male and two female, have been shifted to MHTR or Darrah (jawahar sagar) or Seljar Tiger Reserve in Hadauti of Malwa plateau from RTR. The first phrase of tiger re-introduction into MHTR, approved by National Tiger Conservation Authority [NTCA] in July 2018, is now complete.
