Was just about to post these images myself. Sad and cool at The same time! Rare to see such battles between carnivores, so you gotta apriciate every single video/image you can find. 
often when i hear about leopards beeing killed by lions it's usualy cubs, young and sub-adults who dosen't know the danger that lives out on The open plains! Also some old leopards that are to weak to hunt will often scavange from lions, is in a risk and sometimes killed, acording to MalaMala. 
looks kinda like when faced with a hyena, lionesses blokking The way and let the male do the job against an admirable aponent.  Reply
