The Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem seemed pretty quiet on the bear front this past week, so I felt fortunate that I got my fill of bear action the previous week in Alaska.

Here, a brown bear runs across the ocean shallows hoping to catch one of the few remaining salmon in the area.
