here he is as a cub, he was born late November/December 2011 to Katezari male and old Katezari/Jamunjhora female (deceased). a litter of 3, two females and one male. Kankajhari and his two sisters grew up around Jamunjhora waterhole of Tadoba range and by monsoons of 2015. he resurfaced as the sole ruler of Kolara buffer, both Junabai and Sharmili are his females. just like his father, he's a large male in his prime and perhaps the biggest male in the entire Kolara buffer area stretch.

Your words are convincing, but how come he looks so much like Shivaji? (I thought it was Shivaji's photo until i read the caption)
In case of tigers there's always a chance of the father not being who we think it is...
I understand from your data that he was born sometime in 2013. Shivaji was around until just before that! Kankajhari could be from the last litter Shivaji ever fathered.
Or does Shivaji & Katezari share any common ancestor?
