There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.
Once again Sanjay, the facts remain, the bengal tiger is the largest Tiger alive, not the Amur.
Why even go out of your way to say lions have a longer skull and not that tigers have a wider skull, or larger canines or claws?
Also according to Kanwar and many others, no way to do lions Look larger, tigers are the larger looking animal according to their eye witness account.
Like I stated before, if you are going to mention morphological differences then mention them all.
Tigers are longer bodied, larger forearms, biceps, rear quarters, longer canines, wider skulls more robust overall.
Lions have longer skulls, slightly taller on average even though that isn't true either because both shoulder heights match up evenly at maximums or average and lions have manes.
I will be more than happy to post measurements of forearms, shoulder height, body length etc. If you have not seen them already.
