There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.
We are talking about events happening in the wild bush, the standards of evidence you are demanding are too high for this. Footage/photos of stuff like this are hard to come, we can establish a chain of events with decent accuracy on what probably happened.
1. There is audio evidence of very intense fighting between multiple male lions.
2. We know that the mapogos were in the area and on the hunt for the newly dominant majingalanes.
3. Three mapogos head back west and a week or two later pretty boy appears with a bent spine and without rasta.
It's LIKELY that rasta and pretty boy were involved in that confrontation and rasta didn't make it out. Given the events that took place before rasta's disappearance, its quiet likely that this is what PROBABLY happened. Maybe rasta was poached but it's unlikely. In dreadlocks case we have zero evidence of a confrontation, his sudden disappearance suggests he was poached. I am just being objective here.
one way or another we need evidence and not assumptions which have been repeated for years without paying any attention at all to the Rangers' reports.
If someone wants to find the truth he needs to conduct a research about the events of that period of time.
But most people never did any research they just repeat the same unproven and/or wrong assumptions.
1. The audio is not evidence, it was recorded by a person who a few months ago has also admitted that it is not possible to know if the mapogos were involved in that fight in EP in July 9 2010.
2. NO, the mapogos were NOT in the area, the Tsalala Pride was in the area chased by the majingilane.
3. Khimbini the Ranger saw (he says that he saw) the 3 Mapogos but Khimbini did not present any hard evidence such as Photos or videos.
In July 11th 2010 another Ranger from Leopard Hills witnessed and recorded in a video All 5 Mapogos and all of them were in great shape. And all 5 Mapogos were seen in the West until July 19th but not all of them together.
It is strange but Khimbini has already deleted his post from his Timeline after the video of the LH Ranger came into the light, WHY??
There has been a lot of wrong assumptions and people took them as evidence, all we want is the truth.
This is very interesting dude. We all know that the Mapogos liked to patrol in alone or in pairs of 2. So I believe that after this incident, Rusta and PB were patrolling the eastern boundary and came up upon the manginjis, or at the very least, rasta did. They fought and injured him badly and when PB came to help, he also got beat. But they got out alive and as many believe, they went into hiding in an area that was inaccessible by rangers. This is where rusta passed away but PB (as his name suggests - the undying Pheonix) - came out of the ashes with only a few injuries and as bent spine. But again, this is all assumption as well.
