There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Pallas's Cat (Otocolobus manul) from Mongolia.
Photo and information credits: Alex Kirichko Full Speed. Male Manul (Pallas's Cat). The Pallas's cat, also called the Manul, is a small wild cat with a broad but fragmented distribution in the grasslands and montane steppes of Central Asia, where they inhabit elevations of up to 5,050 m. It is negatively affected by habitat degradation, prey base decline, and hunting, and has therefore been classified as Near Threatened by IUCN since 2002.(Wikipedia) Many thanks for the organization of this trip to my good friend and very nice wildlife photographer Валерий Малеев. Mongolia. January 2017. (outside temperature -32 Celsius :-))
