There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

The Brown bears can constantly bite fast, unlikely the big cats' killing bite method, they have developed another technique to strip their preys alive.
Look how gruesome and ogre-ish from that killing technique, the poor moose has almost been skinned alive. It is by far more painful to be eating alive by a Brown bear than the instant killing from a big cat.

I do think the killing of larger prey is far more brutal though, watching lions eat buffalo alive and a tiger lick and drink the blood of the prey it's immobilized is pretty gruesome as well.
Both can be brutal killers when they have to.
