There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Simba did not look very fat either. But Jaipur the Amur tiger is the biggest of all captive big cats. But tiger expert K. Ullas Karanth said record tigers Jaipur's size are fat and obese and would not survive in the wild
I'd be a little more skeptical of Circus trainers weights, they seem to be more about embellishment than most but doesn't mean you cannot use them.
Here is Beatty talking about his lions and tigers

Pat Anthony talking about Lasky whom I'm obviously a bit skeptical about the claimed weight
"Anthony has been with Circus Vargas for
three or four years, and plans to expand his
act to 17 animals next year.
He says he has an 18-month-old Siberian
tiger named Lasky that weighs 700 pounds, is
13 feet long, and is still growing. He says he is
• training it to balance on a big ball."
On Simba, he was a big boy for sure but definitely overweight

but so was Jaipur but he was still a massive cat as well.
