There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.
From Mara Lion Project
Tatu and Red, who have separated from the Marsh pride, are currently in Mara North Conservancy trying their luck with a few Cheli pride females. The boys have caused some disruption in the Cheli pride forcing a sub-group of 4 Cheli females to leave their 8, 2-year-old offspring. This way, the females can occupy the males in order to protect the 8 youngsters.

A few weeks ago we posted that we found Red and Tatu in the northern part of Mara North Conservancy. A few days ago we saw them again but this time a younger male, also a disperser from the Marsh pride, called Topknot, had joined forces with Red and Tatu.
