There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.
I get very little wifi in the Serengeti, but I have seen every animal you can think of, all I have left for the big five is a leopard. Today will be our first full day through the Serengeti, we're leaving very early to try and spot rhino, I got yelled at by an elephant for clicking with my flash on, capes all over the place and hyena calls at night. We saw the crater from above, spotted two rhino with binoculars, it's amazing there.
We stopped at oludpi gorge, not "olduvi" btw, it's been incorrectly named by German discoverers.
I'll give a full update once o have better wifi, but now it's time for a full day through the Serengeti, wish me luck.
This has been the most amazing trip of my life, I can't wait to talk in depth with you guys about it.
