There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

However, in order to use the weight, we need confirmation, and the only confirmed figure is that of 252 kg via video, so I think this is the useful one.
About the tiger, I still think it looks young and it doesn't look as masive as the pictures that you show. It will be good a stripe comparison just for clarification of the issue. Still, 203 kg seems normal for a captive tiger, although a little low in comparison with other specimens, like for example Copenhagen.
As i said the one weighed in the video could be Ulysses's son a 6 year old! But both are at the same weight! But rex is quite fat, and Ulysses is not! Ulysses is actually quite large framed!
If Rex is "fat" than no way is the one being weighed, Rex. He doesn't seem fat at all, the opposite actually.
