Nharu pride was a Birmingham Breakaway if I'm not mistaken, they had cubs fathered by the Thanda Impi males before being taken over by Red Road.

Mbiri pride was a breakaway of the Skybed/Caroline pride, some lionesses ( IIRC 4 ), sired by the 3 Old Skybed males formed this pride, they were sisters to the 9 Skybed males.

They were taken by their older half-brothers the Matimba males who sired 2 generations of cubs. Later the pride was abandoned by Matimba and taken by the Thanda Impi coalition who sired cubs there. After the demise of the Thanda Impis, the Orpen males took over the pride for a brief time, they died before their cubs were born. A litter of 2 survived, a male and female.

The Thanda Impi sons ( named Tintswalo males ), previously ousted by the Orpens took over their natal pride and have been ruling them since, but without much success cub-wise. Current composition of the pride is 2 Matimba daughters, 2 or 3 Thanda Impi daughters, as well as an Orpen daughter, with a 3yo subadult male, possibly a subadult female ( both sired by Tintswalos ), and a male cub sired by either Tintswalos/Nzuri or Mbiri males. Pride males are both born in this pride, Mandevu Tintswalos, the son of the Thanda Impis; and Nzuri, son of Orpens. Reply
