There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

I think the only thing that can help is for an external party to step in and fix the mismanagement that happens in the park. But its going to need a mayor wake up call for that.

That is precisely what I said, I believe they are intentionally doing all of this, out in the open, because they want to end the tourism. Just as you mentioned, I just said that as soon as it stops, they will seize the land for good. As it stands today, that is going to eventually happen, whether we call for boycotts or not. They have already taken over the marsh area from the show, and in the process killed off a large portion of the Marsh Pride made famous in that show. Pressure from outside governments is the only thing that will stop what is currently happening. The corrupt government that oversees the area that contains the Mara, is clearly complicit in what is happening, along with the corruption that permeates certain guides and rangers, and those who employ them. They are the ones who must feel the pressures, and they are the ones who need to be focused on, not the cattle herder swinging the machete.
