There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.
And how about Bandhavgarh tigers ?? Looking at pictures alone, I have the feeling that both Bheem and Jobhi are as big as any from Kanha or Tadoba.
In fact, I believe that tigers from MP and MH are at the same size. The few pictures from Melghat and Satpura also show it.
In my view, more interesting would be to compare Central tigers with South tigers. Prey base in South India is very good ( if I am not wrong there are more Gaurs there, for example ) and competition is also very intense. Is Raja a 250kg tiger ( at least when he was in his prime ) ? Of course it is impossible to reach a conclusive result by pictures alone, but in my opinion Nagarahole/Bandipur have the most impressive tigers in South or Central India.
It would be nice to see what people who knows both tigers think about it .
