Gutted, he's gone through so much. Does anyone know if TB is in Botswana? It sure is acting like that, with the constant up and down of his condition, etc...

Thank you for that, now I have even more questions about this. I know that snake bite has been ruled out as well, very strange.
TB was first seen in KNP and is thought to be from cattle to buffalo transmission, which is why it’s surprising that places like Masai Mara don’t have it. For me I think it’s one of two things, either a set of buffalo was transported with cattle and picked it up from that interaction, or it was just an extremely rare case, which over time begin to spread over KNP / Greater KNP, quicker than anyone could have ever imagined.
I seem to think it’s the first scenario as Masai Mara has a lot of cattle feeding on the grass but I’ve never seen the cattle integrated into buffalo herds for example.
