Botswana is really confusing for lion dynamics, I'm not sure if these boys are different to the 'Sons of Destruction' but both are referred to as a Khwai Coalition, or they are indeed these boys, just imagine there were still the 5 Khwai males, sons of the 5 Selindas, who were all alive too. Anyways, I heard one of the Kwhai coalitions has been described as '7 males,' it's these boys in the video, but only 5 are consistently spotted, prolly a similar situation to the 6 Mayambula males in KNP, as they are often referred to, eventhough only the same 5 are constantly spotted. Ofcourse maybe this has just really confused me and both coalitions are the same but it's hard to know since I don't know the exact area they roam nor who fathered the coalition(s). I've heard one set of Khwai males may have been sired by the the OG 5 Khwai males who are sons of the 5 Selindas, but it's never been confirmed. Anyways, for the sake of myself and my own brain capacity, I would love if they start to rename some of these coalitions so we don't get the same names over and over again. They obviously don't have much reason to with their lions not being tracked anywhere near as frequently against lions of KNP / Greater KNP or Masai Mara etc.
