There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

I'm not crazy about the doc. A lot of totally wrong info and info made up just for storyline and drama.. So now, in the future, for people that don't know the history will use this documentary as fact to back up their claims. BbC could have corrected their info easily before releasing it but they chose not to. Im not a fan of it. Make you think of all their previous documentaries.
I thought this doc was going to be awesome and have info that I never knew. Total let down for me.
I’m assuming u finished it then, I’m definitely disappointed it doesn’t get any better since the first episode then but will prolly finish it myself anyways. The thing I have never understood is why the producers / writers and whatnot just make up a storyline. I understand they want to create something that captures the attention of the audience but it still doesn’t help. It’s like with the part of the first episode where they say Olobor killed his sister, eventho his mane from the start of that video is nowhere near comparable to his mane during that clip. Anyone who’s followed Olobors story know how aggressive of a male he was, he didn’t need some bs claim to help further that logic.
The lions already have great stories, individually, certainly much better than any of us, so why try to change history. I also think the reason these documentaries are skeptical in terms of information given out is because of laziness from the same ppl who put the information out, a lot of the time it, might be a genuine mistake but they don’t check up with knowledgeable sources to correct it.
I’d love a documentary that’s 100% accurately based on some of these past or present coalitions. It’s time we get another documentary on behalf of some males in Sabi Sands.
