There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Yeah i didn't mean to be rude or anything, i personally just don't appreciate someone "putting words in my mouth", thats just ridiculous. Not the first time someone seems offended when anyone expresses a different opinion on how unusual Kambula's tolerance seems to be.

I tried to put a word from my native language on translator and it gave me this lol. Didn't mean that, just tolerant / mercy

I mean, im not an specialist, i dont work with lions and have never even been in a safari at Africa. I just like following and keeping up with this animals dynamics.
And from my experience on coalitions of four+ in Kruger, none of them was as tolerant as the Kambulas, even when in their nomadic lifes

And yes, usually when big coalitions like these feed there is not enough food to go around so seeing them tolerating two more lions is also something we don't see often.
Though part of that is probably also because everyone always obsesses on the most violent of the violent lions. So coalitions like these often end up forgotten.
