There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.
Usually I advocate for caution regarding our judgement of lion behaviour, but Nkorho?? Really?? That's ridiculous.
I worry for the Ximungwe and Mhangeni prides as well, but as of right now I can't see any aggressive male lions approaching that area. Of course, this can change in a matter of weeks. The PCMs seem to enjoy the company of their cubs (especially the Ximungwe cubs) so let's hope they return to visit them soon. But I have also noticed (with the NK Breakaways and the Mhangeni pride) that once the cubs are close to reach 1 year of age, the PCMs visit far less often and it stats to dwindle. As the Ximungwe cubs approach that 1-year mark, I wonder if this is a natural consequence for them too, which would be very worrying.
The PCMs were seen in Singita with the Mhangeni pride on the morning of May 13 though - so not that long ago. It seems like they cover vast distances at rapid speeds.
