There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Isn't it strange for a pride to bounce back and forth with 2 coalitions like the Nkuhuma's are doing with the BDM and Kambula's? This just seems so odd to me.
In an area that is contested between multiple males/coalitions, this is pretty normal behaviour by the lionesses. This way, both coalitions will assume paternity of whatever cubs are born from these encounters and are therefore less likely to kill them
In the meanwhile, people good at matching lions' features gonna have to guess which coalition sired the cubs
