There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.
She is pretty much part of their coalition or is atleast seen as a pride under their controll sans mating. If lion social bonds were really that shallow, they would be extremely rare and fall apart at the first mating opportunity. Much like we see with leopards.
Most likely this will behave similar as a coalition that has multiple prides under their controll and one of them went into estrus.
The males will just move between the two prides while the lionesses try to keep their distance from eachother. Though sometimes a lioness gets a bit to worked up and takes risks she shouldnt have, resulting in conflicts like this. Just think of the fate of the original Ximhungwe lionesses.
The Nkhuhuma lioness wasnt aware that there already was a rival lioness with them, so she got chased off for now by that lioness and the males. Though some off the males will likely leave for a bit to mate with her soon.
