There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.
On Oct 15 I picked up 3 Mayembelas, very full at the plain before Muzandzeni picnic area. Had for about an hour before another car came. Next day, had them again a few kilometers South, and after some searching found they had a giraffe kill in a ravine, and five brothers there. Pics of this later.
Saw a friend I hadn’t seen in years at the sighting (he was with me for our first Casper sighting years ago), and told him the Leubron males had taken over Hamilton pride. He left for that area, hour later I come up to him, and he tells me he had a large female pride (Hamilton) right beside the car before some a-hole pulled up behind him and starting taking selfies out his roof and scared off the pride. He drives off, I scan a bit looking for the females and picked up the Leubrons. Stunning.
