There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Acerola/Iracelmo 3 year old sub-adult male has been captured and collared. Onçafari lead biologist May Joares recently described Acerola as "more than 110 kg", then fellow Onçafari biologist Lucas Barros confirmed with me that he weighed 116 kg in total, another impressive feat for a sub-adult male at Caiman, southern Pantanal.
Last year Mango/Badalo, another 3-year-old subadult, weighed 110 kg when captured. Both Acerola and Badalo were born in 2020, to mothers Pandhora and Leen respectively. They will weigh much more in 3-4 years from now.
