Tracking Notes: The Secret World of Mountain Lions is a fantastic documentary that was released on 2021 It followed the dynamics of cougars in Montana and how they interacted with their main prey: Elk, showcasing their macro predatory tendencies. The trailer can be found here, it's amazing. Full film here:





As for South American ones, the Obama-narrated series Our Great National Parks followed the trail of Pumas in Torres del Paine NP, Chile, and recorded these amazing scenes of them bringing down guanacos several times their sizes. The power that these big cats possess is truly awe-inspiring:




In both of these teasers, we see footage of cougars attacking elk and guanaco. My ultimate dream is for predation on free-roaming horses or moose to be recorded on video someday as well.
