There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.
Actually the Majingilanes accepted the Ximhungwes, subs and all. It was mostly the Othawas that nearly wiped out the pride. Mostly because they kept seeking out the Majingilanes and trespassing.
The Ximhungwes are also one of the victims of the current situation and may also go extinct if things continue.
And what exactly are the pros of the whole situation?
A break away group with nearly the same genetic composition as their origin pride settles down there. Diminishing the genetic diversity in the reserve even further?
Having less lions? Even without the Birmingham's killing them the two prides were already barely clinging on. Just 3 adult mostly elderly females in the Othawa pride and 2 in the Ximhungwe one. There are singular prides that outnumber them both together. To say that western sector was overpopulated is a stretch.
