There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. When I put on the 18mm-55mm and shoot, It focuses well on the back round but if its pointed at one of my cats, the image is a bit blurry.
I assume because its too close to focus on the animal, but any advice would help.

I was focussed on my cat but you can see the backround clearer than the cat and i was curious if its just because the cat is so close.
And when I put on the larger lense and focused on a cat outside, the cat was blurry but the shrubs and trees were clear.
