There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.
"There were originally four lions that made up the Othawa breakaways - one older male born in 2018 and believed to be fathered by the Majingilane coalition, and another three - littermates, one female and two males - born in 2019, and fathered by the Matimba coalition.
They dispersed into the southern area of the reserve in around June this year and were later seen in July on an adjacent reserve. They have possibly encountered other lions since we've sighted them, and this might be the reason we've only seen two of the group (pictured), one male and one female from the same litter. "
